This Tesla Model 3 came in for a full-front paint protection film install — one of our most common setups for Tesla owners who want long-term protection on the most exposed areas of the vehicle without committing to a full-body wrap.
The film used on this build: STEK DYNO-shield, a premium TPU film with a self-healing topcoat and excellent clarity. After the PPF was cured and inspected, we applied EVO PRO Titanium from Glossit (4 or 6 year) over the entire exterior as a final layer of ceramic protection.

Every section uses digitally pre-cut patterns specific to the Tesla Model 3 — which means no hand-cutting on the car, no razor on the paint, and cleaner edge placement. Edges are wrapped where geometry allows, keeping exposed film termination points out of sight.
STEK DYNO-Shield — Why We Use It
STEK DYNO-shield is a 10 mil TPU film with industry-leading optical clarity and a self-healing topcoat. Minor surface scratches in the film itself — from car washes, brushing, light contact — will disappear with heat exposure. The film stays flexible in temperature extremes and holds up well in Hawaii's humidity and UV environment over the long term.
DYNO-shield's adhesive is strong enough to stay put through Oahu's heat cycles, but formulated for clean removal when the time comes without pulling clear coat. We've found it performs consistently across complex Tesla panel geometry, especially around the nose cone and front bumper camera cutout.
EVO PRO Titanium Ceramic — On Top of the Film
Once the PPF was fully cured and inspected, the entire exterior received a coat of EVO PRO Titanium from Glossit (4 or 6 year). Applying ceramic coating over PPF is one of the most effective protection combinations available — the film handles physical impact and abrasion, and the ceramic handles UV, contaminants, and surface-level wear while adding a significant boost in gloss and water behavior.
EVO PRO Titanium creates a hard, optically clear ceramic layer that bonds to the film's topcoat. Water sheets off immediately, dirt doesn't stick, and the paint underneath stays protected by two complete layers of defense.

Is PPF Necessary for a Tesla?
Teslas are notorious in the detailing world for soft paint that's particularly vulnerable to swirl marks, chips, and light scratches. Factory paint thickness on most Model 3 panels runs thin compared to traditional ICE vehicles — which means damage shows up quickly and requires more aggressive correction to fix.
PPF on the front end of a Tesla — applied before the first scratch — is one of the most straightforward protections available. Once the film is on and the ceramic is cured, the vehicle is dramatically easier to maintain and the paint underneath stays in condition that would be difficult to preserve otherwise with Hawaii's daily driving conditions.
We see a lot of Tesla owners come in after the first year with rock chips, swirls, and clear coat damage that a front PPF install would have prevented entirely. The best time to do it is before the car takes its first hit.
